Isopods are tidy. Their food isn't.

Drop a piece of fruit, a pinch of fish flakes, or a spoonful of protein into a bioactive vivarium and you've got about thirty seconds before half of it disappears into the substrate. A dedicated feeding dish keeps everything in one place — easy to refill, easy to clean, easier to mold-proof.

Why bioactive keepers reach for this dish

  • Built-in ramp makes the dish accessible to even your smallest isopod morphs
  • Contains food in one place so leftovers are easy to remove (and harder for mold and mites to find)
  • 3D-printed in PLA — light enough to lift out for cleaning without disturbing the substrate
  • Tucks neatly into a corner of your vivarium, or sits center stage for watch-and-feed sessions
  • Single dish, 3-pack, or 5-pack — handy if you're running multiple bioactive setups

What you get

  • 3D-printed PLA feeding dish with integrated entry ramp
  • Choice of 19 colors
  • Choose 1 dish, 3-pack, or 5-pack
  • Designed to keep food off bioactive substrate

How to personalize

Pick your color from the dropdown. One color per order — for mixed-color sets, place separate orders or message us before checkout.

Perfect for

  • Bioactive vivariums with isopods (powder blues, dairy cows, dwarf whites, magic potions, and friends)
  • Springtail or mixed cleanup-crew setups
  • Quarantine or starter "iso colonies" where you want to monitor consumption
  • Anyone tired of fruit flies hatching out of stray banana buried in coco fiber

Care

Rinse under warm water. For dried-on food, soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap. Air-dry before returning to the enclosure so you don't add unwanted moisture.

Frequently asked questions

Will isopods actually use the dish?
Yes — the ramp is shallow enough for dwarf morphs (dwarf whites, powder blues) and easy for larger species (dairy cows, magic potions) to walk in and out of.

Can I put wet food in it?
Yes. Soft fruit, protein, fish flakes, calcium powder — all common cleanup-crew foods work in this dish.

How do I clean it?
Rinse under warm water. For dried-on food, soak with warm water and a drop of mild dish soap. Air-dry before returning to the vivarium.

Why a ramp?
Without one, smaller isopods can fall in but struggle to climb out. The ramp keeps the dish accessible to everyone in the cleanup crew.

Will it stain from food residue?
PLA can pick up faint color from heavily-pigmented food, especially red fruits. Soak before stains set in and they'll wipe out cleanly.
